If you need to use airport metro in istanbul here are details of M11 metro line.
How to reach istanbul airport metro?
After landing and customs, you will pass arrival hall and exit by using gates 9 or 13. You will see airport metro street entrance at the middle (next to gate 11). You need to follow that street. You may also use airport passenger buggies on the corner. At the end of that street you will reach to airport station. You can use stairs or elevator.
Which stations can you use?
At the moment only istanbul airport station and Kagithane station is working till june. Gayrettepe station is not working at the moment. So last station is Kagithane.
What do i need to use metro ? Can we pay by credit card?
You will need istanbul card to pass metro. You can buy istanbul card at the entrance of metro by kiosks. And you load some deposit. You can use credit card to buy istanbul card. Each pass in that metro line costs about 15 lira for the moment.
How many stations are there?
You may reach till Kagithane station for now by passing the stations of ihsaniye-kemerburgaz-gokturk and hasdal stations. Gayrettepe station is not working yet. So you need to get off at Kagıthane station.
How long does it take?
From airport till Kagithane station takes 35 minutes.
How do we go on after Kagithane station?
After Kagıthane station you can take a taxi or you can walk to Kagithane mecidiyekoy metro. When you exit, turn left, pass square, bus station and lights. You will see metro station. By Kagithane-Mecidiyekoy-Mahmutbey metro you may reach to Mecidiyekoy or Mahmutbey stations. In Mecidiyekoy you may pass to Metrobus line or another metro for Sisli-Taksim-Yenikapi.
If you like to go old city, Blue mosque, Sultanahmet area you will need to take a tram from Yenikapi station.

2-Kagithane to Mecidiyekoy station
3-Mecidiyekoy to Taksim or Yenikapi station
4-Yenikapi to Sultanahmet-Sirkeci station
What time does airport metro starts ?
M11 metro is working till 23:45 at night and starts in the morning 06:30. Also other lines has almost same hours.
